Most studios selling "private" Pilates are offering a single instructor watching a client on a Reformer. At D2M, a private session is a clinical-grade movement assessment, a tailored therapeutic program, and expert hands-on instruction — delivered by one of Arizona's most credentialed instructors.

Do I need Pilates experience to book a private session?
No experience is required. Private sessions are ideal for complete beginners because your instructor builds your program from your current baseline — there is no prerequisite level of fitness or flexibility.
How is a private session different from a group class?
In a group class, everyone follows the same sequence. In a private session, every exercise, every resistance level, every cue, and every apparatus choice is made specifically for your body. The instructor's full attention is yours for the entire session.
Can I do private sessions if I have an injury or recent surgery?
Yes — this is one of the primary strengths of private instruction at D2M. Devi holds a Post-Rehabilitation Specialization and works closely with clients recovering from joint replacement, spinal surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We recommend coordinating with your physician or physical therapist when appropriate.
How often should I do private sessions?
For most clients, 2–3 sessions per week produces the most consistent neuromuscular adaptation and visible results. Once or twice per week is effective for maintenance and steady progression. We will discuss the right frequency for your goals during your first session.
